Getting started for businesses

From sign-up to the first conversion reported from your site - six steps.

Step 1 - Sign up and create an organization

  1. Sign up at affilink.co.il/signup (email and password, or a Google account).
  2. On the "How would you like to use affilink?" screen, choose "I'm a business" and enter your business name.
  3. An organization is created, and you are its Account Owner - full control, including billing and deletion.
Have a promo code? Enter it in the dashboard ("I have a promo code") - the benefit takes effect immediately for the period stated in the promotion.

Step 2 - Create your first offer

An offer is a product or service you want affiliates to promote. For each offer you define:

A new offer is created as a draft. You move it to "pending review" and approve it - from that point affiliates can apply.

Step 3 - Connect your site to conversion tracking

This is the only technical step, and it's critical: without it, clicks are counted but sales are not. When the offer is created, a webhook_secret is generated for it - a secret key used to sign the reports from your server.

  1. Give your developer the offer_id and the webhook_secret (over a secure channel - not in plain email).
  2. The developer follows the integration guide (in English, about 30 lines of code, including a ready WooCommerce example).
  3. Verify with a test order that the report comes back with a conversion_id.

Step 4 - Invite your team (optional)

From the dashboard you invite team members by email, with a role:

RoleWhat they can do
adminEverything except billing and deleting the organization
affiliate_managerManaging affiliates, approving applications and offers, special rates
financeView-only access to financial reports
analystView-only access to dashboards

The invitee signs up with the same email they were invited to and accepts the invitation - the invite is valid for 7 days.

Step 5 - Approve affiliates

When an affiliate applies to your offer, it appears in the "pending affiliate applications" queue in the dashboard. Take a look at the profile - site, promotion channels, audience description - and approve or reject. An approved affiliate can immediately generate a tracking link and start promoting.

Step 6 - Ongoing monitoring

How do you pay affiliates?

affilink calculates and reports who is owed how much - but the payment itself goes from you directly to the affiliates, through a channel you already work with (bank transfer, etc.). An Israeli affiliate issues you an invoice. The system produces the entitlement report; you mark it "paid".
