What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you browse the site. They let the site remember information about your visit - such as your authentication state or your preferences. Alongside cookies, we also use browser localStorage for similar purposes.
Legal basis and consent
Cookies are used in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment No. 13), and subject to our Privacy Policy.
Essential cookies are required to operate the Service and are always active - without them you cannot sign in to your account or perform secured actions. We do not use them for tracking or advertising.
Non-essential cookies (currently: Google Analytics only) operate only after you have given explicit consent in the cookie banner. Until you choose - and if you choose "Necessary only" - the analytics tool is not loaded in your browser at all and no data is sent to it. The checkboxes in the banner are not pre-ticked, and refusing is exactly as easy as accepting.
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key affilinkConsent) - not on our server and not in a cookie. It is valid for 12 months, after which we will ask again. If we ever add a new analytics or advertising provider, we will ask for fresh consent - consent given in the past does not cover a party that was never presented to you.
Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your choice at any time: at the bottom of every page there is a "Cookie settings" link that reopens the banner with your current choice. Withdrawing a consent you already gave reloads the page, to make sure an analytics tool that was already loaded actually stops running, and not only on paper.
Clearing site data in your browser also clears the record of your choice, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.

A Session cookie is deleted when the browser closes; a persistent cookie is kept for a defined period or until you delete it manually.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are managed by third-party services we use - Google Analytics (analytics, only after your consent) and Google (sign-in with a Google account, only if you chose that sign-in method). These services have their own privacy policies governing how they use information.
The simplest way to prevent collection by Google Analytics is simply not to allow it here, or to withdraw consent via "Cookie settings". In addition, if you want to block the tool across every site you browse, an official browser add-on is available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
"Do Not Track" signal
Some browsers let you send a Do-Not-Track (DNT) signal. There is currently no uniform, agreed standard for how to handle this signal, and so we do not currently change the site's behavior in response to it. You can manage cookies directly through your browser at any time.
How to manage and delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may impair the operation of the Service - for example, you will not be able to stay logged in to your account. Information on managing cookies is available in the help pages of the browser you use.
